Terms of Service
Last updated 8 October 2026.
1. Who this is between
Drafteo (“the service”, “we”, “us”) is operated by CondoGrid. These terms are the agreement between us and you — the person or organisation with an account. Using the service means you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you are confirming you are allowed to.
2. Accounts
You need an account, and the details on it must be true. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into it.
A workspace has an owner. Whoever owns it can invite people, remove them, and run the workspace and its bill. What you make there is private until you share it: an owner or an admin cannot open a private item you have not shared with them. If your account is part of somebody else's workspace, the workspace is theirs to run, and being removed from it ends your access to it.
You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live. The service is not built for children.
3. The free trial, and paying
New workspaces get 30 days free. No card is asked for up front. When the trial ends, the workspace is locked until a subscription starts.
Locked means paused, not deleted. Nothing is removed when a trial ends or a subscription stops. Your work stays where it is and comes back the moment payment goes through. We will not delete a paused workspace's contents without telling you first, in writing, and giving you a fair chance to get your work out.
Subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are shown on the site before you pay. If we change the price, we will tell you before it applies to you, and you can cancel instead.
A seat is per person — $25 a month each, or $250 a year each. Everyone can pay for their own, or one person can pay for several from the workspace settings.
Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not refund a month already paid for, and we do not pro-rate part months.
Yearly plans are different. Cancel within the first 30 days of a yearly payment and we refund the part you have not used, back to the card that paid. After 30 days the year runs to its end and simply does not renew.
If somebody else was paying for you and stops, you keep your account and everything in it. You will be asked for a card to carry on. Nothing is deleted while you decide.
If something goes genuinely wrong on our side, write to us — we would rather sort it out than argue about it.
Taxes are yours where they apply.
4. Your work stays yours
Everything you put into Drafteo — boards, notes, tasks, databases, messages, files — belongs to you. We claim no ownership of it.
You give us only the permission we need to actually run the service: to store your content, back it up, transmit it, and show it to the people you have shared it with. That permission ends when you delete the content or close your account.
We do not sell your content. We do not use it to train machine-learning models. Content is sent to the third parties named in our privacy notice only to make features you use work.
5. What you may not do
- Break the law with it, or use it to harm, harass or defraud anyone.
- Upload malware, or content you have no right to upload.
- Try to break into other people's workspaces, or probe our systems without permission.
- Resell the service, or run it as if it were your own product.
- Deliberately overload it, or scrape it in bulk.
- Publish a form, a booking page, a link page or a short link that deceives people, imitates somebody else, collects passwords or card numbers, or leads to something harmful.
If you do any of that, we may suspend or close the account. Where it is reasonable to warn you first, we will.
6. Contacts, campaigns and messages
Drafteo lets you keep a list of people and write to them by email and text. You are the sender. The messages go out in your name, through the sending accounts you connect, and you are responsible for them.
- Only write to people who agreed to hear from you, in the way the law where they live requires — CASL in Canada, CAN-SPAM and the TCPA in the United States, GDPR and PECR in Europe and the UK. No bought, rented or scraped lists.
- Say who you are, and do not disguise where a message comes from.
- Honour every opt-out, promptly. Drafteo adds an unsubscribe link to every campaign email and the opt-out wording carriers expect to every text, and records the people who use them so later campaigns leave them out. Somebody who asks you another way — a reply, a phone call — is yours to mark.
- Text messages need a registered sender. Carriers require the business and the kind of message to be registered before texts are sent in volume, and that registration is yours to hold.
- You have the right to hold the contacts you import, and you will answer the people in them if they ask what you hold or ask you to delete it.
A safety check watches each campaign and pauses it if too many people opt out, bounce or report spam. It is a seat belt, not a promise of compliance. We may pause a campaign, or sending for a workspace, where we reasonably believe these rules are being broken or other customers' deliverability is at risk.
What people send you through a form or a booking page is yours, under the same rules: tell them what you will do with it, and do only that.
7. The assistant, and assistants you connect
Drafteo includes an assistant. It can read the workspace you are in and add to it, and — when you ask — rename things, mark tasks done and manage calendar events. It cannot delete anything, share anything, invite anyone or send mail.
It is built on a language model and it can be wrong. Check anything that matters before relying on it. You are responsible for what you ask it to do and for the results of doing it.
You can also connect an outside assistant, or another program, with a key or by signing in. It acts as you, within the limit you choose — read only, read and change, or allowed to delete. Keep keys to yourself and switch off any you no longer use. What a connected assistant or program does with your account counts as done by you, and the company that runs it handles what it reads under its own terms.
Services you connect for dashboards and integrations are run by other companies under their own terms. We are not responsible for their figures, their outages, or what they do with contacts you send them.
8. Uptime, support and changes
We work to keep the service available, but we do not promise a particular uptime, and there is no service-level agreement. Things break, and hosting providers have bad days.
We may change, add or remove features. If we are going to remove something you rely on, or make a change that would clearly hurt, we will give reasonable notice.
Support is by email, and we answer as promptly as a small team can.
9. Ending it
You can stop at any time from your account settings, or by writing to us. You can export your work while your account is open — take it before you close the account.
We may end the agreement if you break these terms, if payment fails and stays unpaid, or if we stop offering the service. If we stop offering it, we will give you at least 30 days' notice and a way to get your work out.
After an account is closed, content is deleted from live systems within 30 days and from backups as those backups age out.
10. The boring but necessary part
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. We take backups, but a backup is not a promise.
11. Law, and changes to these terms
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the applicable laws of Canada, and the courts there have jurisdiction — unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim closer to home, which it may.
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will say so by email or in the app before it takes effect. Carrying on using the service after that means you accept the new version. The date at the top tells you when this one was written.
